We provide chess lessons and tournaments for students ages 5-16. We have found practice to be the best way to improve and we create an environment for our students to play a range of abilities. In between games we will give pointers, help practice an technique with them, or place them against a computer opponent. Computers we have found to be incredible helpful as they allow us to review each move of a game with the student.
We are currently located in Henderson NV and run several events on a weekly basis. Every Friday and Saturday night from 6 to 9pm we run a tournament at Brooklyn Bagel Deli on GV Pkwy and Pebble. This three our event includes pizza, instruction, trouphies, and of course chess games. If you want more information, here is our flyer for the event, and here is directions.
On Mondays at Silver Springs Recreation center, also in Henderson NV, we run group lessons from 5:15 to 6:15. This is ussualy a 5 week session and sign up is handled through Silver Springs Recreation Center. Their phone number is (702) 267-5720 and here is directions to their facility.
